Officials of the Nigerian Prisons Service, Edo State Command, have beaten a father of three children to coma.
In a video shared in the internet, the man was seen brutalized as a woman, suspected to be his wife, pleaded on his behalf for mercy, telling his tormentors that he is a father of three children.
It could not be discerned when and where in Edo State the ugly incident took place as at the time of filing this report.
Disrespect and brutalization of citizens by members of Nigeria’s security forces ranks as one of the worst in the world – notwithstanding the country’s claim of practising democracy.
