Senator Dino Melaye who was arrested at the Abuja airport of Monday has been released.
His release was disclosed in a tweet on Monday afternoon by his colleague in the Senate, Shehu Sani.
Mr. Melaye, representing Kgi West, was arrested and detained at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday, on his way to Morocco on what he said was official assignment.
