At least 10 persons, including the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Etim Ekpo Local Government, Mr. Iniobong Akan, were beaten up by aggrieved youths during the Saturday’s APC ward congress.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had recently, during a visit in London, described the Nigerian Youths as lazy and only waiting for their share of the oil money – apart from their being uneducated in the president’s estimation.
But contrary to Buhari’s belief, the truth remains that the legendary greed of a ravenous elite has kept away from Nigerian Youths the good life the gods intended for them.
Maybe, the Youths are now ready to confront their oppressors.
