Nigerian university, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has announced the sacking of Prof. Richard Akindele for demanding sex from a student, Monica Osagie, to upgrade her mark.
The OAU Vice-Chancellor, Eyitope Ogunbodede, in a press conference in Ile-Ife on Wednesday said the Governing Council of the institution sacked the lecturer, “having found him guilty of all the charges against him.”
Recall that Monica had shared on Twitter a recorded phone call she made to the professor in which he demanded to have sex with her 5 times so that he can upgrade her score from 33 to a pass mark.
She alleged that the lecturer, who claims to be a pastor, purposefully failed her in order to get her in his bed.
