The Department of State Services, DSS on Wednesday arrested former Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam, following a petition by incumbent governor, Samuel Ortom over thee security situation in the state.
Mr. Ortom had alleged that Suswam was planning to make the state ungovernable, reports Channels Television.
Meanwhile an aide to the former governor has confirmed the arrest of his boss over the said petition.
Recall that the DSS had also detained Suswam in 2017, after allegedly uncovering a large cache of arms and ammunition from a property said to belong to him at number 44 Aguiyi Ironsi Way, Maitama-Abuja.
