Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, members of Nigerian House of representatives reacted to Tuesday’s defection of 14 All Progressives Congress, APC senators to PDP, with jubilation.
The members, led by the Deputy Minority Leader, Mr Chukwuka Onyema, were heard singing anti-APC songs in the lobby of the National Assembly building as they waited the arrival of Speaker, Yakubu Dogara.
And when he finally arrived in the chambers, loud chants shouts of “Dogara”; “Dogara”; “Dogara” rented the air
Sitting was about to start as at the time of filing this report. It is left to be seen if there will be defections in the House too.
Such could lead to PDP regaining majority leadership.
