Suspected ritualits have beheaded a woman in Mgbirichi community in the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State.
The barbaric killers also cut off one of the breasts of the victim, leaving residents who found her headless body, lying somewhere near the Owerri/Port Harcourt Expressway, in shock and disbelief.
It is understood that the yet to be identified woman was murdered in the early hours of Monday because she was seen in the community on Sunday, according to a native.
The Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Andrew Enwerem, confirmed the killing, adding that investigations had commenced.
