
President Muhammadu Buhari, who overstayed his ten-day vacation by one day, is expected to return to Nigeria today from the United Kingdom, where many believe he had gone for medical care.
This was disclosed by His Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Friday.
He told the Punch “The President is expected back in the country tomorrow (Saturday).
“For now, I can’t confirm the exact time he will land but protocol officials will alert us on time ahead so that we can move to the airport to receive him. He will definitely arrive in the country on Saturday.”
Buhari had on August 3 proceeded on a 10-day vacation, which should have ended by midnight Thursday.
