
The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) on Sunday released names of 34 bodies so far identified from the over 40 Shiite protesters allegedly killed by Nigerian soldiers within four days of clash with members of the group during protests in Abuja on October 27, 29 and 30.
A representative of the group released the list to the press, calling the Nigerian Army “murderous”.
The group is calling on the international community to pressurize Nigeria into investigating and punishing those who carried out the killing.

According to the group, most of them have been buried in Zaria, Kaduna State, while family members took bodies of some of them.
