The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Joshua Lidani, representing Gombe South constituency, on Wednesday, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr. Lidani’s defection was announced during plenary on Wednesday by the Majority Leader, Senator Ahmad Lawan and later shared on the verified Twitter handle of the Senate, @NGRSenate.
No reason was given for his defection.
The tweet read, “Senator Ahmad Lawan announces the defection of Senator Joshua Lidani from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.”
