Amid the denials that trailed the first clip, Mr. Reno Omokri, ex-aide on new media to former president Goodluck Jonathan, has released a full audio recording of the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, calling President Muhammadu Buhari an ignoramus, who neither reads to acquire information nor listen to advice.
Omokri released the full audio release on Sunday in a post on his Twitter page, making good his threat to release more clip, should Amaechi venture to deny.
In the first audio made available to the public on Saturday, Mr. Amaechi was heard saying, “The President does not listen to anybody. Does he even read?”
However, Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital, New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, reacting to the clip, claimed the it was recording from 2014 at the height of Amaechi’s fight with President Jonathan.
On Sunday, Omokiri tweeted: “Yesterday, I set up the @NGRPresident. I knew if I released the full #AmaechiTapes, they’d say it was fake.
“Now that @ToluOgunlesi admitted it is actually Amaechi, but from 2014, here is the rest of Part 1 proving that @AsoRock lied.”
He promised that “Part 2 is coming shortly.”
