The man, who reportedly have been tapped to replace Mr. Ibrahim Idris as Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has been sighted at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
AIG Adamu was seen on Tuesday morning going to the office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr. Abba Kyari, for a meeting.
While Adamu was at the Villa, Mr. Idris was with other security chiefs at the Cenotaph of the Unknown Soldier laying a wreath in commemoration of the 2019 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
That is expected to be Idris’ last public function.
The nation is waiting for the official announcement of Mr. Adamu as the new ag. IGP by President Muhammadu Buhari.
