A former Police Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, is set to return to his former role.
Mba, who is an Assistant Commissioner of Police, served as the Force PRO under the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar from 2012 to 2014.
He was relieved of his post after Abubakar’s departure.
However, impeccable sources within the police told the Punch that the new IG, Mohammed Adamu, had already tipped Mba as the next police spokesman.
Mba, the newspaper learnt, has already arrived in Abuja and is expected to meet with the IG later in the day.
