INEC Must Produce The Server Used For Presidential Elections – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has insisted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) must produce the server used during the 2019 presidential election.

Mr. Obi said this while speaking during a thanksgiving service in Atani, Anambra state, organised in honour of Stella Odua, senator representing Anambra-north and other winners in the state house of assembly, maintaing that INEC used a server.

INEC must provide the server they used for the election because they know they used the server for the election and must provide it, the former Anambra State governor demanded.

Recall that INEC had told the election tribunal that it did not used a server for the elections.

Speaking at a programme in Osun state on Monday, Solomon Soyebi, an INEC national commissioner, claimed that the commission abandoned the idea of using a server for this year’s general election because of some factors, including the late release of its budget.

The PDP is challenging the eletion victory of prsident Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential election petition tribunal.

The opposition party says the results from the server showed Atiku Abubakar, its candidate, got the highest votes in the presidential election.
