Lawyers and Civil Society Organisations on Monday stormed the premises of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja, protesting the illegal suspension of Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen by President Muhammadu Buhari, and his replacement with Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed.
The protesters, from groups like National Interest Defenders and Lawyers in Defense of Democracy, displayed banners, and called for the reconvening of the National Judicial Council (NJC) meeting.
They demanded the sack of the acting CJN.
