Former President of United States of America, Bill Clinton, is to visit Nigeria a day before the presidential election, the Chairman of th Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus has confirmed.
Mr.Clinton will meet during the visit with President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
It is understood that the former US president will arrive on February 15 morning before the two candidates head to their states to cast their votes in the election.
The meeting is expected to get them commit to a peaceful election and to get them to put their country first before personal aspirations.
Mr. Secondus, confirmed the planned visit by Clinton, saying his party has been informed.
