19.30pm: Donald Duke loses polling unit
The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and former governor of Cross River State, Mr Donald Duke, has lost in his polling unit in the presidential election.
He polled only six votes, while the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar took the unit by 291 votes. President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC got 98 votes.
16.31pm: Former Enugu Gov. Chimaroke wins polling booth
Former Governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani has won his polling booth in the ongoing general elections.
Nnamani, who is the Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Enugu Enugu East Senatorial zone, polled 245 votes, while the All Progressives Congress, APC, got one vote.
16.20pm: Buhari wins polling unit
President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has won his polling unit, PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A, in Daura, Katsina.
Mr. Buhari got 523 votes while the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar polled only three votes.
15.51: Gbenga Daniel wins polling unit
Mr. Gbenga Daniel, the Director General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation, South, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has won his polling unit.
The Peoples Democratic Party scored 137 votes, while the All Progressives Congress came second with 88 votes.
15.15pm: BREAKING: PDP Wins At Sanwo-Olu’s Polling Unit
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has defeated the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Femi Okunnu polling unit, Lateef Jakande, Ikoyi where the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, voted in the presidential poll.
The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, got 52 votes to beat President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC, who got 48 votes.
14.04pm: Former PDP Chairman in Rivers shot dead
A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Monwon Etete, has been shot dead by yet to be identified gunmen in his hometown of Andoni on Saturday afternoon while voters were waiting for the commencement of elections.
13.39pm: INEC Extends Voting time:
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the voting time for some polling units which experienced delay due to technical challenges and complaints, including malfunctioning of card readers and late arrival of officials.
INEC Commissioner and chairman of its Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, announced this on Saturday while giving an update on the ongoing elections
He said, “Every place where we experience challenges would be granted an extension, by the number of hours lost. If a polling unit is supposed to be activated at 8:00 a.m. and starts by 12 Noon, four hours will be added.
“Any place there are security challenges and we can’t deploy materials and personnel, the commission will take an action on those areas.”
13.25pm: Card reader malfunctions at Jimi Agbaje’s polling unit
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Jimi Agbaje, on Saturday said he was concerned about the malfunctioning of the card readers during voting at his polling unit in Apapa.
The PDP candidate spoke with newsmen after he and his wife, Biola, voted at polling unit 004, Ward A, Liverpool, Apapa around 11.20a.m.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the card reader had rejected Agbaje’s fingerprints, that of his wife and those of three other voters.

Non availability of ink has delayed accreditation and voting for over four hours in some polling units in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
As at 12.noon, the exercise had yet to commence in Ward 3 Ogwashi-Uku where an INEC ad hoc staff, who gave her name simply as Juliet, said there was no ink for stamping of result sheets and thumb printing.

Atiku, Wife Vote In Adamawa
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, favoured by opinion polls to win, has finally cast his vote at his polling unit of Ajiya in Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
His wife, Titi, who accompanied him to the polling unit, also cast her vote.
There had been delay in voting at that polling station following reported late arrival of INEC officials.
PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Yet To Cast His Vote
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is yet to cast his vote at his polling unit of Ajiya in Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa, almost one hour after the commencement of the presidential and National Assembly elections nationwide.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that voting has commenced in earnest at the unit and other centres across the metropolis.
Some of his aides who arrived at the unit, however, said the PDP flag bearer “should be coming any moment from now.”
President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC candidate, voted in Daura, Katsina State, four minutes after the commencement of polling.
