Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said Mr. Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is coasting to victory, sweeping votes in the South West, South South, South East and North Central zones of the country.
Mr. Fani-Kayode said this on his verified Twitter page on Saturday, noting that he was “cautiously optimistic” that Atiku will be declared Nigeria’s next president.
He advised President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to start packing his bags to leave Aso Villa.
“Things are looking good as @atiku appears to be sweeping the SW, SS, SE and NC.
“We are on course and I am cautiously optimistic that @atiku will be declared the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in a matter of days.
“I advise @MBuhari to start packing his bags!” the former minister wrote.
