The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has defeated President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the polling unit of Governor Aminu Tambuwal in Sokoto State.
At Unit 011, JNI Nizamiyyah Islamic School in Tambuwal, Tambuwal Local Government Area, where the governor voted at 11:45am on Saturday, APC won two of the three voting points for the presidential election in the unit, however PDP won with the total votes.
APC polled a total of 439 votes, while PDP won slimly with 444 votes.
