The returning officer for Imo West Senatorial District, Francis Ibeabuchi, has recounted his ordeal at the hand of thugs suspected to be working for outgoing governor, Rochas Okorocha, who he had declared the winner of Saturday’s senatorial election.
In a video posted on Youtube, Prof. Ibeabuchi shed more light into what transpired at the collation center, which compelled him to declare Mr. Okorocha the winner while “under duress.”
Recall that Prof. Ibeabuchi had on Monday said on national television that he was “forced” to declare the results at the Imo West election collation centre in Orlu INEC office.
