The anguished mother of Jessy Gold, the Lagos girl, who was shot and killed by a policeman while she and a boy were returning from a nite club over the weekend has cried out for justice, saying her daughter was not a criminal.
She vowed in a video uploaded on Youtube by The Punch that the blood of her deceased daughter will surely avenge the injustice meted out to her by people who were supposed to protect her.
Jessy’s mother and uncle questioned the kind of country we are living in, in which the police kill people – innocent ones for that matter.
“The police is certainly not our friends,” the devasated mother was heard saying in the clip.
