Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has emerged the Deputy Senate President of the ninth Senate.
He defeated former deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu by 68-37 votes.
Omo-Agege was accused of snatching the mace during the 8th senate.
Earlier, Ahmad Lawan of Yobe North was elected senate president.
