34-Year-Old Wife Of Supreme Court Judge, Unilorin Graduate Among 38 Lawyers Conferred With SAN (Full List)

34-year-old Adedoyin Oyinkan Rhodes-Vivour, wife of Bode Rhodes-Vivour, a supreme court judge, and Muyiwa Atoyebi, a graduate of the University of Ilorin, are among the 38 lawyers shortlisted for the senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) title.

Atoyebi is the youngest Nigerian lawyer that will be conferred with the highest title in the legal profession.

In a statement, Hadizatu Mustapha, secretary of the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) said the new SANs would be sworn in during the 2019/2020 new legal year of the supreme court in September.

The SAN title is normally conferred on Nigerian lawyers who have practiced for at least 10 years, and have distinguished themselves in the practice of law.
