Opeyemi, wife of Saharareporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, has said that her husband has been kept in solitary confinement since he was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Lagos on August 3, two days to the #RevolutionNow protest convened by the activist.
Opeyemi revealed this when she featured on Democracy Now, a news programme in the United States.
She also narrated how her husband contacted her, via text message, shortly before he was picked up.
The woman added that she and her children had spoken to him just twice since his arrest.
The DSS had accused Sowore of treason, alleging that he collected millions of dollars foreign collaborators to violently topple the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The DSS said Sowore met with his sponsors in Dubai.
But his wife said he has never been to Dubai.
