President Muhammadu Buhari will this weekend travel to New York to participate in the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
This was disclosed by Tolu Ogunlesi, his Special Assistant on Digitial and New Media via his verified Twitter handle.
Mr. Ogunlesi did not specify the day his principal will travel but said he would be speaking on the first day of the general assembly as the fifth speaker.
He tweeted, “President @MBuhari will this weekend leave for New York to participate in the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74). He will be speaking on Day 1 of the General Debate (Speaker No. 5) – Sept 24, 2019.”
