Aisha Buhari, the first lady, on Monday damned Nigerians by tweeting a video of Hanan, one her daughters, waving at a crowd from the presidential jet she used for her private photography trip.
Hanan’s use of one of the aircraft in the presidential fleet to a private event in Bauchi had angered Nigerians, who poured out their disapproval of what they described as abuse of power.
Femi Falana, human rights lawyer, also said it was illegal for Hanan to use the jet on a private trip.
But it did not deter the first lady from releasing the 55 seconds clip, showing her daughter, Hanan inside the presidential jet.
Rilwanu Adamu, the Emir of Bauchi, had reportedly invited Hanan, a graduate of photography, to document an annual festival and some tourist attractions in the state.
