President Muhammadu Buhari and security chiefs are currently meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting is holding few hours to Buhari’s trip to the UK later today to participate in the inaugural UK-Africa Investment Summit.
The purpose of the meeting is yet unclear. However, an update on the security situation in the country should be on the table.
The UK summit itself opens on Monday, January 20, but Buhari is leaving already today.
The president is expected back in Nigeria next week Thursday.
