The 20 people, who were killed during the attacks on Kwatas Community in the Bokos Local Government Area of the state by suspected Fulani herdsmen have been given a mass burial.
The herdsmen had attacked the Kwatas community on Sunday and Monday.
Some of the villagers told the Punch after the burial that they never envisaged the attack.
A community leader, Mr Benjamin Shaweng, said, “We have just buried 20 of our people killed by herdsmen. Two other persons will be taken to their place in Shendam and Mushere for burial on Friday in line with their tradition and wishes of their immediate family.
