Convicted former Abia State governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has lamented his imprisonment, blaming the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is the mastermind of his 12-year jail term.
The Abia-born politician said Tinubu is nursing the ambition of becoming President in 2023 and is afraid he (Kanu) would contest against him.
He further revealed that some bad eggs in APC demonized his person despite all his sacrifices for the party.
Kalu who disclosed this to Al-Jazeera when he was paid a visit at his detention facility in Kuje prison categorically mentioned Tinubu as the person responsible for his current predicament.
