The Federal Government of Nigerian has barred all government officials, including public and civil servants, from travelling abroad.
The Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus announced the ban on Tuesday after a closed-door meeting in Abuja.
Chairman of the committee and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, said the ban commenced immediately till further notice.
The Federal Government had raised a Presidential Task Force for the control of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
This comes the same day Nigeria confirmed a third case of Coronavirus.
