NCDC Confirms New Coronavirus Case In Abuja – 27 Now In Nigeria

Nigeria now has a total of 27 coronavirus cases after the Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday, confirmed a new case of COVID-19 in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The NCDC had confirmed three cases in Abuja on Saturday bringing the cases in FCT to four. Oyo State had announced one case on Sunday morning.

The NCDC had also on Sunday confirmed three new cases of coronavirus in Lagos.

According to a tweet shared on the NCDC handle on Sunday, the cases had a history of travelling to high-risk countries in the last seven days.

Presently, there are 19 patients in Lagos; one in Ekiti; two in Ogun, and three in the federal capital territory (FCT).

Two patients have been discharged since cases of the disease were confirmed in Nigeria.
