A 62-year-old resident of Bauchi has tested positive for coronavirus, Bauchi State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aliyu Maigoro, announced in a press conference on Thursday.
This is the second confirmed case in the state.
CHECKPOINTCHARLEY reported that Governor Bala Mohammed had also tested positive for the disease and currently in isolation.
There are presently 50 confirmed cases of the disease. 152 people had been so far tested by the Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC).
