Less 24 hours after he said he has recovered from COVID-19, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state attended Juma’at service at a mosque where there were at least 60 persons, ignoring call by health experts and governments to maintain social distancing in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mohammed, who exhibited such irresponsible behaviour as leader, wearing face mask and hand gloves, sat beside Baba Tela, his deputy, during the Muslim congregational prayer.
Such religious gathering has been suspended across the country to check the spread of coronavirus.
