
Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state on Monday attended a virtual meeting with members of his cabinet, a tweet by the official account of the governor announced.
El-Rufai, who is known to maintain a clean-shaven look, was however seen in the photos that accompanied the tweet bearded
The meeting was chaired by Hadiza Balarabe, deputy governor of Kaduna.
“Malam Nasir @elrufai is attending the daily virtual meeting of the State Standing Committee on Covid-19, which is chaired by Deputy Governor @DrHadiza Balarabe.”
The governor has been in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19 on March 28. His deputy has been in charge of the affairs of the state.
More than two weeks after his diagnosis, he is yet to be cleared of the disease.
Meanwhile, his counterparts like Seyi Makinde, Oyo governor, and Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi, who tested positive for the same disease, have recovered.
