Kano again for the second day running, topped the chart of as the state with the highest COVID-19 cases in Nigeria’s daily toll.
Of Thursday’s 196 new cases, Kano had 80 while on Friday, Kano had 92 of the 232 cases confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The state now has a total of 311 coronavirus infections. The state recorded its index case on April 11, 2020 and four days after, confirmed its first COVID-19 death.
None of Kano’s confirmed cases had been discharged as at May 1, 2020.
