Nigeria has recorded 220 new coronavirus cases, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) tweeted on Saturday night.
This now brings the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 2,388.
Of the 220 new cases , 62 were recorded in Lagos, 52 in Abuja and 31 in Kaduna, where it was earlier reported that more 14 almajiri children sent back from Kano had tested positive for the disease.

The NCDC said 385 have so far recovered from the disease and discharged. While 85 patients had died.
