Nigeria has recorded fresh 386 COVID-19 cases, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed in a tweet on Friday night.
This now brings the total number of infections in the country to 3,912.
The number of fatalities increased from 107 to 117, while recoveries increased from 601 to 679, the NCDC said.
As at Friday, only Kogi and Cross-Rivers states have no recorded case of coronavirus.
Chikwe Ihekweazu, director-general of the NCDC, said the upsurge in cases is a reflection of the increased testing capacity in the laboratories across the country.
