Nigeria has recorded 146 new COVID-19 cases and eight fresh deaths, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed in a tweet on Tuesday night.
This now brings to 4,787 confirmed cases of coronavirus infections in the country, which has spread to 34 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
The number of fatalities increased from 150 to 158, while recoveries increased from 902 to 959. NCDC said.
As at May 11, 2020, NCDC had tested a total of 28,418 samples.
