Nigeria has recorded 176 new COVID-19 cases, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) tweeted on Saturday night.
This now brings the total number of infections in the country to 5,621.
Five deaths were recorded and the number of fatalities increased from 171 to 176, while recoveries increased from 1,320 to 1472, the NCDC said.
