At least 70 persons have been reportedly killed after Boko Haram fighters attacked Faduma Koloram village in Gubio local government area of Borno state on Tuesday.

The terrorists reportedly invaded the village in gun trucks and motorcycles.

“They accused the people there of spying on them and vowed to teach them lessons. Virtually all the houses in the community was torched,” the source said.

It added that some persons who managed to escape returned to the village hours later to meet their houses in ruins.

The attack on Faduma Koloram is the second known attack on a Borno community within 24 hours.
