
Popular Nollywood filmmaker, Chico Ejiro has died in the early hours of Christmas day from a seizure.
His death comes few hours after he concluded directing his new movie on Christmas Eve, a family source said.
Born Chico Maziakpono in Isoko, Delta State, Ejiro is a movie director, screenwriter, and producer.
Chico held the record of the Nollywood director with the highest number of released movies. He is said to have produced and directed over 85 movies in his over 30 years career.
He studied Agriculture in school but was was drawn into video production.
Chico is the younger brother of veteran filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro.
He was married to Joy Ejiro and they have four children.
