Gunmen have killed six people in a Fulani family in the early hours of Sunday in Osun State., the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Yemisi Opalola, told Channels Television in a telephone chat.
Opalola said the incident happened in a village near Wasinmi, a community along Ife/Ibadan expressway in the state.
According to her all the victims were Fulanis.
The spokeswoman added that the state Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode, had visited the scene of the incident.
