The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says its office in Ohafia LGA in Abia State has been set ablaze.
Festus Okoye, the INEC spokesman, announced this in a statement on Monday, saying the incident occurred on Sunday night.
He however added that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but investigation into the incident is ongoing.
This comes one week after one of the commission’s offices in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state was set ablaze by unidentified persons.
