Joe Igbokwe, the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Drainage and Water Resources says Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe is an ethnic bigot and an elder for nothing for wearing a T-shirt with the inscription, “Dot nation”.
Mr. Igbokwe stated this on his Facebook Page.
He wrote: “A Senator and an ethnic bigot, an elder for nothing.
“The blood of those policemen and the uninformed youths killed in the South-East will be accounted for in the fullness of time, We cannot be mad all the time.”
Abaribe was seen wearing ‘The Dot Nation’ T-shirt, which emerged after President Muhammadu Buhari referred to Igbos as “a dot in a circle” in an interview with Arise Television.
Buhari’s controversial comment, had angered majority of Nigerians, and Igbos particularly.
In defiance, they customized their T-shirts and caps with the inscription ‘The Dot Nation,’ the Dot in the Circle etc.
