The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed has confirmed the killing of at least eight persons in a fresh attack launched on farmers in Buruku and Udawa villages of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State by suspected bandits.
Though he was unable to say the exact number of casualties as at the time of filing this report.
But it was gathered that no fewer than eight farmers were killed when the armed men attacked the victims while they were working in their farms on Saturday.
The two villages located along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway have been under constant attacks recently.
