Suspected bandits have killed nine people and abducted six others in the Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The incident happened on Saturday and the victims included eight men and one woman.
The villages attacked by the bandits are Bejingo, Dantudu, and Tulutu, all in Birjin ward.
The assailants also carted away herds of cattle belonging to the villagers.
