Police Confirm ‘Arrest’ Of Okorocha’s Son-In-Law Uche Nwosu

The Nigeria Police says the 2019 governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), Uche Nwosu is in their custody.

Nwosu, a son-in-law to former Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha, was abducted on Sunday by gunmen, dressed in security uniform, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama in Obaire, Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.

In a statement, Imo Police Command Public Relations Officer, Michael Abattam, confirmed Nwosu is in their custody.

The Chief Superintendent said the announcement was to allay fears about his Nwosu’s whereabouts, but he did not say what his offence was.
