
Operatives of the Nigerian Police have rescued three students in Plateau state, less than 24 -hours after they were abducted by gummen suspected to be bandits.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Plateau State, Ubah Ogaba confirmed the release of the girls, said to be students of the Plateau State Polytechnic.
Two of the victims, who were identified as as Benefit and Longfei were rescued on Thursday.
The three victims were kidnapped when bandits invaded their residential area in Ban village, Barkin Ladi LGA on Wednesday evening .
They shot indiscriminately escaping with the three women .
However,one of the bandits was arrested by the security agents after the attack on the village located behind the Plateau State Polytechnic .
