
Gunmen, suspected to be Fulani militia, have reportedly raided Agban Kagoro, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing at least 15 residents.
The incident took place on Sunday night, according to the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in the state, Rev. John Hayab.
Many others were said to be wounded, with several houses razed during the attack.
Hayab described the attack as sad, saying the latest attack and killing in Kagoro, without any substantial action from the government.
Meanwhile, Governor Nasir El-Rufai has declared curfew in two Local Government Areas of Kaduna State following the attack.
The state’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said the governor declared the curfew in Jema’a and Kaura LGAs.
