Popular Nigerian music star and activist, Charles Oputa, known as Charly Boy, has alerted Nigerian youths of alleged plans by the establishment to scuttle their movement for a new Nigeria in 2023.
In a tweet on Sunday, the music icon said the enemies of the youths are planning “terrible things” ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Charly Boy, who recently told the former president Olusegun Obasanjo that he is the president of frustrated Nigerian youths, prayed that Nigerians would not make mistakes in 2023.
He tweeted, “I pray that Buhari would be Nigerian’s last mistake.
“My fellow frustrated Nigerian youths, our enemies are planning terrible tins, una go use sense show dem say @ourmumudondo”.
On Saturday hundreds of thousands of Nigerian youths held ‘one-million’ march in Port Harcourt, Auchi, Afikpo and Makurdi in support of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, who has become the face of the New Nigeria movement.
